Peanut is the definition of forgiveness and healing. She was left alone for years to fend for herself, bred repetitively, and horribly neglected.
Even still, Peanut came running to me the day she was rescued. She is so kind and forgiving, ready to love every person that she meets. She fought through pneumonia when she was rescued, allowed us to give her antibiotics, etc. with kindness and grace the entire time. She is one of a kind!
I am so grateful that Peanut survived the horrors that she endured and is now a forever member of the sanctuary!
We love you so much, Mama Peanut!
Pumpkin is a gentle, friendly, wonderful little lovebug! She came to us at just six weeks old and we are so, so thankful she is part of our sanctuary family. She loves to interact with program goers and is always the first to come running when she hears someone enter the guinea pig room!
We love you so much, Pumpkin!
Honey came to us with her beautiful sister Pumpkin at only six weeks old. She struggled with the initial transition, but with some TLC she came around very quickly and is an incredibly friendly, snuggly little friend! We are so grateful that she is with us and helps our program goers every single day!
We love you so much, Honey!
Hazelnut, affectionately known as Hazel, is the beautiful daughter of Mama Peanut! She came to us with her mom from a severe abuse and neglect case when she was only four weeks old and has transformed from a terrified, worried little one to a beautiful, gentle, and kind soul who loves to snuggle and play!
We are so thankful that her mama kept her safe throughout what they survived and that from early on in her life, she will only know love and kindness from those at the sanctuary from here on out!
We love you so much, Peanut!
Smores was the first rescue that I participated in at only ten years old. We were blessed with a wonderful eight years with Smores, who was the friendliest and most confident bunny I have ever met.
Smores came to us with mental trauma, but with patience and love he quickly turned around and became one of the most requested friends to visit at the sanctuary due to his love and snuggles.
We are so thankful that we got eight years with Smores and that he was able to encourage so many around the sanctuary to love pocket pals as much as they love others.
We love you, Smores, Forever and always.
